Customer Service: Answer
customer inquiries, file or forward comments, and resolve
problems.
Order Management: Prepare
document requests, evaluate, negotiate, and approve quotations,
and issue purchase order(s).
Template Management: Develop
approved templates for each document type and task (art,
text, submittal letters, drawing requests, etc.), and update
templates in response to customer change requests.
Vendor Management: Conduct
site visits and quality reviews, schedule and attend management
coordination meetings, and other tasks.
Vendor Coordination: Fill
drawing requests, receive and distribute draft manuals for
review, return comments to vendors, research memos, coordinate
technical interchange meetings, and file completed documents.
Database Management: Maintain
an overall database of all manuals and other documents with
revision history.
Digital File Maintenance:
File and maintain completed digital files on a controlled
server, and ensure that all digital files are properly named,
organized, and formatted.
Web Server Organization and Maintenance:
Develop and maintain the website for customer distribution,
upload completed PDF files for distribution, and replace
revised files.
Hard Copy Distribution: Maintain
limited hard copy distribution capability to meet contractual
requirements and for low-tech customers.
