PROVISIONING SERVICES

Provisioning Services provide out-sourced provisioning data and procurement support services. These services include:

Initial Provisioning Data (IPD): Preparation of T-files and other provisioning documentation using the Boeing on-line tool or other airframe manufacturer interface.

Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Data: Preparation of W-files using the Boeing on-line tool or other airframe manufacturer interface.

Procurement Support Services: Review of CMMs and other technical documents to generate procurement support files for the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) that can be used to order spare parts, consumable materials, and Special Tools and Test Equipment (STTE). This service provides Excel spreadsheets listing the detailed and current information needed to bridge the gap between the CMM and procurement data needed to overhaul or maintain the LRU.

LRU Spare Parts Database: This database consists of an Excel file with the information needed to procure spare parts for an LRU. The service is billed based on the LRU (IPL) parts count.

Component Part Number: The part number cross-referenced to the IPL or drawing Bill of Materials (BOM) if there is no CMM.

Component Description: Most CMMs and BOMs only provide a keyword and a few general modifiers to describe components. This is usually enough data for proprietary components. However, the descriptions provided for electronic components, attaching hardware, packings, etc. is usually not sufficient for a procurement database.

Source and Contact Information: Complete information on the source of each component, including the manufacturer or distributor name, CAGE, address, and contact information, including the agent name, telephone number, website, e-mail address, etc. This information is provided for all components, including proprietary as well as standards. For standard components, up to three sources will be provided. Company and Government Entity (CAGE) codes are usually listed in the IPL and in consumables tables. However, companies are bought and sold and CAGE codes are discontinued. In addition, many CMMs are out of date and do not provide current CAGE codes for many piece parts.

Price: Current pricing data, including price breaks and quantities, for proprietary as well as standard components.

Leadtime: Current leadtime for proprietary as well as standard components.

Recommended Spares Quantity. PA Inc specifies recommended spares quantities based on the end item or component failure rates, type of component, material, usage, and other information.

Consumable Materials Database: This database consists of an Excel file with the information needed to procure consumable materials for an LRU. The service will be billed based on the parts count of the materials listed in the CMM or on the drawing BOM if there is no CMM.

Part or Specification Number: The part or specification number cross-referenced to the CMM consumables table or drawing BOM.

Description: Most CMMs and BOMs only provide a keyword and a few general modifiers to describe consumable materials. The descriptions provided for materials listed by specification is usually not sufficient for a procurement database.

Source and Contact Information: Complete information on the source of each material, including the manufacturer or distributor name, CAGE, address, and contact information, including agent name, telephone number, website, e-mail address, etc. This information is provided for all components, including proprietary materials as well as materials listed by specification. For these components, up to three sources will be provided.

STTE Database: This database consists of an Excel file with the information needed to procure special tools, test equipment, fixtures, and other recommended tooling for an LRU. The service will be billed based on the parts count of the STTE listed in the CMM or on the LRU route sheets (traveler or process plan) if there is no CMM.

Part or Specification Number: The part or specification number cross-referenced to the CMM or LRU Manufacturing data/route sheets.

Description: Most CMMs and LRU route sheets only provide a keyword and a few general modifiers to describe STTE. The descriptions provided for STTE is usually not sufficient for a procurement database.

Source and Contact Information: Complete information on the source of each STTE, including the manufacturer or distributor name, CAGE, address, and contact information, including agent name, telephone number, website, e-mail address, etc. This information is provided for all STTE, including proprietary as well as recommended tooling listed by type or usage. For these components, up to three sources will be provided.
